farm

Vineyards, olive groves and orchards surrounded the extensive outside areas.
The wine harvest is done by hand, and the grapes are immediately transported to the nearby cellar situated in the middle of the estate. Here we aim to obtaining the best quality of our wine using the latest available modern technology.

In fact the small quantity produced permits a careful following up of the whole process.

The “cantina” is run by the family and next to the house there is a shop where guests may purchase bottles of wine for their own use.

On this land, situated at an altitude of around 250 m above sea level, and with its characteristic soil consisting of travertine, organic limestone and sand mixed with tuff and clay, there are vineyards focused on the production of the esteemed Chianti and Extra-Virgin Olive Oil.

The prevailing grape varieties are the traditional ones of the area such as Sangiovese, Trebbiano, Malvasia, Ciliegiolo and other minor typical Tuscan grapes. Only to a limited extent, and for the production of special wines, international grapes like Merlot and Cabernet have been added.

The olive groves, as well, are the typical for this area and consist of about 1000 trees.
